For Savannah’s 9th birthday party, she knew she wanted an art party—it was just a matter of finding the perfect twist to make it her own. After some brainstorming, she came up with Telephone Paint. Each party-goer received a famous art piece to replicate—but only for one song. Once the song ended, they had to pass their canvas to the right, where the next girl would pick up painting during the next song, all without knowing which famous painting they were trying to recreate!
Of course, the song list was all Taylor Swift, and of course, there was raucous laughter as, after the first pass, it became free rein (and total chaos) to enhance whatever was on the canvas.
After each painting made its way around the room, with each girl adding her own flair, the masterpieces were compared. We matched the newly created art to the original inspiration pieces—and surprisingly, the girls weren’t too far off!
